Role & Responsibilities:
Job Purpose
Support CCO in ensuring compliance to regulatory, statutory and all such bodies including internal compliance in the company.
Key Responsibilities
v Assist CCO in overseeing the implementation of Compliance Policy as per Manuals, internal codes of conduct, etc.
v Assist in carrying out an exercise to identify and assess the major compliance risk faced by the Company and formulate plans to manage it.
v Assist in developing the yearly compliance controls monitoring plan in line with the organisation goals.
v Preparing clear and concise compliance MIS.
v Coordinating internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including periodical reviews.
v Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly detailed annual reviews of Compliance and its risk in such a manner as to assist Board members to make an informed judgment on whether the Company is managing its compliance risk effectively.
v Carry out the implementation/adherence of regulatory/supervisory directions given by RBI and other regulatory statutory bodies in both letter and spirit in a time-bound and sustainable manner.
v Assist in examining staff accountability in major compliance failures and Provide timely suggestions and findings based on analysis of such incidents.
v Submit reports on Progress in the rectification of significant deficiencies and implementation of recommendations pointed out in various audits and RBI inspection reports.
v Ensuring timely submission of various regulatory returns, disclosures and periodic queries of RBI and monitoring of statutory filings done by different process owners.
v Support in assessing risks/regulatory aspects in new product/process launches and suggesting way forward.
v Arranging workshops and relevant external training as per requirements.
v Collaborating with other internal areas including: Legal, Business Management, Operations, Technology, Finance, other Control Functions, and In-Business Risk to address compliance issues which may impact the supported function/business/product.
v Assist CCO in developing Compliance framework and Compliance culture in the organisation.
Job Requirement
CA/CS/CMA/MBA Finance/LLB with 10+ years’ experience in RBI Compliance in Banks/NBFC’s/Financial Institutions. Preferable CA/CMA with CS/LLB.

v High level of maturity in dealing with Senior Management team, regulators and other stakeholders.

v Ability to analyse large datasets & reports.
v Proactive in detecting compliance issues and provide suitable advice.
